Key Features

  • Dramatic foliage: Large, arching fronds grow in a circular nest-like shape, giving the plant its common name.

  • Low maintenance: Resilient and easy to care for in the right conditions.

  • Versatile placement: Excellent for shaded gardens, understorey planting, or as a statement indoor specimen.

  • Air-purifying: Adds fresh greenery and helps improve indoor air quality.

Growing Conditions

  • Light: Prefers bright, indirect light indoors or dappled shade outdoors. Avoid direct sun, which can scorch the fronds.

  • Water: Keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water around the base, not directly into the centre rosette.

  • Soil: Well-draining, rich in organic matter.

  • Temperature: Ideal in warm, humid environments; protect from frost.
